Smoothies and shakes are a really great way to incorporate cricket flour into your everyday routine. You can recreate your favourite flavours really easily and in this recipe we make one of our favourites - Dark Chocolate Mocha!

 

Using cricket flour in recipes like this is a really easy way to get the benefits of eating insects. Like high levels of protein, B12, all 9 omega fatty acids, iron and calcium. Locusts are a sustainable and highly beneficial form of protein. INGREDIENTS

1/2 cup strong coffee, cooled
1 banana
250ml almond milk
1tsp cocoa
1 tbsp cricket flour
Ice 

METHOD 

1. Place all ingredients in blender together and blend until completely smooth. (add more ice to make thicker)
