This recipe is going to convert you from your usual go-to breakfast cereal to this cricket flour powered granola! It is a delicious chocolatey, coconutty, high protein, super powered cereal that will transform your morning routine!

INGREDIENTS

1 cup oats
1 cup shredded coconut
1/2 cup cricket flour
1/2 cup almonds
1/2 cup wheat bran
1/4 cup pumpkin seeds
2 tbsp coconut oil
2 tbsp honey
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp vanilla extract

METHOD 

1. Prepare a cookie tray with baking paper, and pre-heat oven to 100°C. In a large bowl, combine all dry ingredients.

2. In a small pot, combine wet ingredients over a low heat, stirring until completely melted.

3. Add wet ingredients to dry, and mix to combine.

4. Transfer onto prepared tray and bake at 100°C for 30 minutes or until completely dried.

pro tip

To get nice clusters in your granola, do not toss during baking, and leaving to cool completely before transferring it into a container.
